Some individuals appear to believe that submitting multiple nominations improves their chances of selection.  It does not.

A nominee meeting the criteria for consideration for the programme should result in the nominee being granted a user account with which they can submit an application in the next phase of AFLI’s process. It is the application that a candidate submits that selectors will review and compare against the hundreds of other applications received. The selectors are interested only in how candidates measure up against the criteria spelled out for the programme.  During the selection phase, selectors will be able to read the comments of only ONE nominator for that candidate.  We are interested in thoughtful insights by the nominator of the candidate in conjunction with the standing and relationship of the nominator to a candidate.

WARNING

Individuals interested in being nominated - do not put out a call on social media or in a bulk email to your contacts to nominate you.
It can result in your being removed from consideration entirely.  If AFLI  receives a large volume of nominations for an individual, it will be considered as flooding or an abuse of our process and these individuals may be barred from proceeding further to the application phase.
